
President of ENIT - National Tourism Agency
From 2024 the president of ENIT SpA. Former Europe Director of the UNWTO, the United Nations agency that deals with tourism at a global level.
With great international experience, she was until 2019 the head of MiPAAFT's international relations and ceremonial office, a role from which she coordinated and managed the transition of tourism policies from MiBACT to the new governance at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Tourism. She took up the reins of national tourism policies, managing to bring Italy back to centre stage in the main international platforms, from UNWTO to OECD, Europe and the BlueMed, Eusair and Eusalp strategies.
She is an expert in tourism policies and follows in particular the areas of data and statistical surveys, food and wine tourism, health tourism, accessible tourism, the dynamics of overtourism and the analysis of demand along the guidelines of digital transformation.
