Bio

Game curator at Lucca Comics & Games and former curator of interactive media at the National Museum of Cinema in Turin.
He worked for multinational videogame companies on titles such as Fifa, The Sims and Crash Bandicoot before teaching at numerous universities and academies, including the New Media chair at the International Film School in Cuba. He is the author of numerous essays such as L'Arte del Coinvolgimento (Hoepli), GameDesigner (Franco Angeli), Industria Culturale dei Videogiochi (volume Economia della Cultura, Edizioni il Mulino).

He united two seemingly distant worlds, art and video games by founding the artist collective TuoMuseo, which produced cultural video games such as Father and Son for the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and worked on interactive works for the Uffizi, Marta di Taranto, Reggia di Caserta, the Municipality of Florence and the Alghero Foundation. He co-ordinates several European projects on the impact of games in everyday life and has curated exhibitions such as “PLAY - Videogames, Art and Beyond” at the Reggia di Venaria Reale, “Let's Plai” at Museo Sant'Orsola in Florence and “Italia Grand Game Tour” promoted by the Cinema Department of the Ministry.

His latest curatorial project is Amano Corpus Animae, exhibited at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan and Palazzo Braschi in Rome.
