Bio

He is a figure deeply attached to the mountains and the Alpine community of Courmayeur, of which he has been Mayor since November 2020.
He has a long professional experience in tourism characterised by administrative vision and passion for the area. After his first election, he was re-elected to lead the municipality for the 2025-2030 term.
His human and professional path has its roots in Alpine tourism. Growing up in the family hotel business, he gained direct knowledge of the dynamics of hospitality and tourism development in the mountain environment from an early age. Over the years, this experience has been translated into roles of responsibility in the Valle d'Aosta tourist-sports sector and the development of the territory.

From 1991 to 2002, he directed the Mont Blanc Ski School, becoming its President and at the same time serving as Vice President of the National Ski Instructors' College between 1996 and 2004.
His strategic vision was then expressed in the management of the area's key infrastructures: from 1999 to 2009, he was CEO of Funivie Monte Bianco S.p.A., contributing to the development of one of the most representative symbols of high-altitude tourism. He then led the Courmayeur Service Centre, first as Managing Director (2008-2010) and then as Sole Director until 2019, strengthening the coordination between services, events and promotion of the resort.

Among his most significant assignments is the founding of the Mont Blanc Valley Tourist Promotion Consortium (2002-2009), set up with the aim of promoting in a unified manner a unique area in the world, where nature, sport and culture are intertwined under the profile of Mont Blanc.

This long journey now finds a national and strategic dimension in the role of President of the Altagamma Association of Territories, a position he took on in June 2025. The Association brings together six of the most prestigious locations of Italian tourism - Capri, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Courmayeur, Madonna di Campiglio, Porto Cervo and Taormina - with the aim of promoting a model of tourism of excellence, identity and sustainability.
