Director of San Vigilio Dolomites, with his strategic vision and commitment, he guided the destination to become the first in the Dolomites and South Tyrol to obtain sustainability certification according to the international standards of the GSTC. Convinced that tourism is first and foremost a system of values to be represented and transmitted, and not only products and services, he has steered its development towards a balanced model between environment, community and hospitality. He is also actively involved in supporting young destination management professionals, in whom he firmly believes as a key resource for the future of the sector. At national level, he represents Italian destinations in the GSTC Italy Working Group, contributing to the definition of policies and practices for an authentic, responsible and future-oriented tourism.
