Destination strategist who hybridises territorial marketing, social innovation and creativity to make tourism a catalyst for change, possible everywhere and participated in by all.
She has worked for major national and international companies including TripAdvisor, TTG, World Travel Market, Isango (TUI) and has been a consultant for public bodies in Italy and Europe for the valorisation of smart, creative, inclusive and sustainable destinations.
In 2014, she founded Destination Makers, a benefit consultancy also known for the campaign ‘Recharge in Nature. Mobile-free refuges in the Dolomites’, which was created to support restart after Storm Vaia and became a case study with over 19 thousand applications from all over the world.
During the pandemic, she donated the ‘Sea Working’ campaign, which made Brindisi the pioneer city in Italy on the topic of smart working tourism. From 2021 to 2023 she was Technical Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing, Creativity and International Cooperation in Brindisi, which is now considered a national laboratory of innovation in territorial marketing, an example of regeneration, creativity and restart.
In 2022, the city was chosen by Airbnb as one of the world's 20 destinations for remote working, and the journey is helping to shape national policies on talent attraction and the creation of welcoming communities for digital nomads.
She coordinates the ‘destination’ theme in the scientific committee of BTO, one of the main events on innovation in tourism, promoted by the Region of Tuscany, is a speaker at the main tourism events (TTG, BIT, BTO, etc.), a visiting lecturer at universities such as IULM and Ca’ Foscari, and has contributed to publications on tourism and culture, including the ‘Io Sono Cultura 2021’ Report by the Symbola Foundation and Unioncamere.
