Bio

From 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024, he was General Director of the ApT Val di Fassa.
He is a lecturer at IULM University and works as Senior Expert in Destination Management at Just Good Tourism.

After a degree in Economics at the University of Rome La Sapienza, a Master's degree in Marketing of Services and some work experience in Italy and abroad, he became director of the Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce and later of the tsm-Trentino School of Management of Tourism and Culture, dedicating himself to the design and development of research-intervention and managerial training.

From the 1990s to the present day, he has carried out consultancy work for projects related to local development and tourism in various Italian regions as well as Romania, Croatia, Greece, the Altaj Republic, the Caucasus, Chile, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and other countries on behalf of various international organisations, including INFORMEST in Gorizia, OECD, WTO and USAID.
He is a board member of OPES FUND which deals with social enterprise projects in India and East Africa and was on the board of Wonderful Italy, a start-up linked to tourism hospitality created by the OLTREVenture fund.
Since 2010 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of AITR (Italian Association of Responsible Tourism) and since 2013 he has been a member of the advisory board of Natourism srl, a tourism business incubator.

In 2011 he edited the publication “Turismi responsabili”, ed. Franco Angeli.
In 2016, he gave the introductory speech at the Stati Generali del Turismo in Pietrarsa and participated in the MiBact Scientific Committee for the drafting of the National Strategic Plan.

He collaborates on degree courses with the IULM University of Milan and is responsible for the Destination Management module of the Master in Hospitality Management at the Parthenope University of Naples.
With the project #OP17 at Lake Molveno, he was selected for the Italian Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale with the OP Collective.

He has visited 84 countries on five continents for work and curiosity.
