Managing Director of Bologna Welcome 

With over twenty years of experience in marketing, event management, communication and tourism promotion, Patrik Romano has overseen the birth and evolution of Bologna Welcome since 2010. In 2024, the organisation became a Foundation and works to enhance the all-round attractiveness of the metropolitan area of Bologna and the Bologna-Modena Tourism District. Under his leadership, the Foundation integrates tourism marketing, visitor reception and information, cultural and sporting promotion, and supports the development of events and strategic investments in collaboration with the Municipality of Bologna, the Metropolitan City and key local stakeholders.
