Vice President - Government Engagement Lead for Italy of Mastercard

He is responsible for the Public Administration market in Italy, which includes Central and Local Government, Healthcare, Utilities, the Chambers of Commerce System and Trade Associations. In this role, in addition to directing the traditional areas of the company's business (payment flows to and from the public administration, credit card acceptance, ticketing), he is in charge of helping territories on tourism and trade issues, collaborating with them in designing development strategies according to demand and its possible evolution.

Previously, Saverio was at Oracle, where he was in charge of the UN market, and before that at Microsoft where he was responsible for the Local Public Administration and Healthcare division for the entire centre-south (and before that at Siebel and Accenture). Saverio has a long experience in sales and presales (particularly in the public market), which is complemented by a strong technical expertise gained during his years at Accenture and Siebel, where he was in charge of CRM, Datawarehouse and BI and AI platforms (with a focus on data).

Saverio lives in Benevento, is married and has three children. He is a great sports fan, particularly of football (he is a fan of the Witches), tennis and rugby. He also has a great passion for dogs (he has three!!) and wine (he is an AIS sommelier).
