Professor of Tourism Economics and Policy at KU Leuven in Belgium and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (IT).
He chairs the executive committee of the EURopean Institute for Comparative Urban Research (EURICUR), is a member of the Advisory Board of Visit Flanders, and advises the European Commission's DG Grow on issues related to the sustainable development of European tourism.
